I read somewhere that the most popular color used in baby nurseries right now is gray, and I have found that to be true among the families I photograph. I always love pale neutrals in newborn photography (gray, white, ivory, taupe, tan). It’s a color palette that is so soft, and delicate. It lets the focus of the images remain solely on the baby – simple, classic, and it will stand the test of time.
